2024 Jewellery Trends

A new year brings so many exciting opportunities, maybe a new job? A new semester? A new resolution? For us, it means a new year’s worth of jewellery trends to keep an eye out for, and 2024 looks like it won’t disappoint us at all! There are so many new trends predicted for this year, but have a look at some of our most favourite so you can shop ahead!

Coquette is Back!

Coquette style is taking the fashion world by storm, with ultra feminine pieces being front and centre for a lot of early 2024 fashion lines. Ranging from pretty pinks to fluffy skirts, this trend allows the pure femininity of fashion to be embraced. However, bows are taking centre stage with this new coquette fixation. Bows in hairstyles, on dresses, bags, and most uniquely as Christmas tree ornaments! However, why can’t we incorporate these into our jewellery? Bow shaped gold and silver earrings are popping up more and more, dainty rings that looks like the gold has been tied in a bow around the finger, really the creativity in bringing coquette into jewellery has been endless. This might just be our favourite 2024 trend yet!

Watches Galore… But Not Where You Think

The watch has been a timeless trend (excuse the pun), but the struggle with a trend that has stood through the ages is that it can be hard to add new spins onto it. However, 2024 has seen an interesting twist on the classic watch… you might just have to look beyond your wrist to tell the time! Rings with small watch faces at their centre have made a pretty big comeback from the early 1900’s. This vintage twist on the classic wristwatch is making its fierce comeback! Watch brooches, necklace pendants and even anklets have also made a splash into the 2024 jewellery game! So maybe 2024 might be the time to switch things up?

Coin It

You can find coins anywhere, between your couch cushions, in your car cupholders, in an old jacket pocket… but maybe those coins could be the next key to improving your accessory game? Coin jewellery has had its ebbs and flows through the fashion cycles, but 2024 looks like it’s going to be a big year for this currency accessory. Maybe it’s because of the recession, or maybe we’re all finding a way to get into coin collecting, whatever the reason for this trend resurgence, we aren’t sad! Coin jewellery has often been associated with good fortune, so why not go into this new year feeling a little lucky?

Framed!

Art is food for the soul, and having it adorn our walls adds life into any room. But why should we limit beautiful art pieces to just the home? Wouldn’t it be better if we took it with us? Art inspired jewellery is set to make a splash in 2024, from famous pieces etched into simplistic pendants, to bright and colourful renderings in earrings, you can carry around a little piece of art wherever you go. Micro-mosaics in particular are going to be incredibly popular this year, whether they be made from miniscule pieces of coloured tile or maybe even coloured jewels, the main problem you will have is picking your favourite!
